hat Blair Seitz did for fun as a boy is still his pleasure. In his
youth, Seitz shot plenty of film behind his home near the Yellow Breeches
Creek in York Co., Pennsylvania. Today, based in Harrisburg, he continues
creating remarkable images with enjoyment.
Blair is the photographer of 20 books. Titles include Philadelphia
and
its Countryside, Pennsylvania Tapestry: Views from the Air,
Pennsylvania's Natural Beauty and Amish Ways. Seventeen of his books
were published by RB Books, a publishing firm he and Ruth Hoover Seitz
founded in 1991. Seven of his books compose the series,
Pennsylvania's Natural and Cultural Heritage.
